Johnny is currently a NYC based singer/actor studying to graduate from NYU Steinhart with his Masters of Music in Vocal Performance with a concentration in Classical Voice in the Spring of 2026. Although he is studying classical voice, Johnny is a crossover artist, and performs across genres including legit musical theatre, opera, jazz, and many others. During his time at NYU Johnny has been seen as Major General Stanley (Pirates of Penzance), Alcindoro (La Bohème Act II in NYU’s Opera Gala), Leo ( Nancy Drew: The Mystery at Spotlight Manor), and Dr. Falke (Die Fledermaus).

In addition to Steinahrdt’s MainStage productions, whilst attending Skidmore College for his undergraduate degree, Johnny also performed along side the Schenchtady Symphony Orchestra. Highlights include: Falke (Die Fledermaus), Massetto (Don Giovanni), Prolouge (Turn of the Screw).

In addition to his performance prowess, Johnny has lots of ensemble directorial experience. In 2024, he music directed and conducted A Year with Frog and Toad with his co-producer/ director Josh Lucey to provide a space for youth theatre exposure on Skidmore College’s campus. In addition, he music directed the acclaimed Skidmore Dynamics a capella group for 3 years and lead them to win the Best Overall Group Performance and Best Repertoire at the Thruway Competition at Proctors Theatre in 2024.
