Recent and Upcoming Projects
This past fall, Johnny had the pleasure of playing the role of Leo in a workshop production of the new musical, Nancy Drew: The Mystery at Spotlight Manor directed by Tony and Pullitzer winner James Lapine and music directed by Emmy winner and Grammy nominated Michael “Koz” Kosarin. The phenomenal score was composed by EGOT winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Olivier Winner Nel Benjamin, and a book by Academy Award winner Sarah Kernochan. He was lucky enough to star along side Olivier Winner Lesli Margherita and Will Swenson.
This Spring, Johnny will be staring as the role of Modern Major General Stanley in W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance. This reimagined production of the classic work is a part of NYU’s Spring 2026 MainStage season with direction by Jonathan Eaton and music direction by Josh Rosenblum.
